By accessing or using NovaCheck, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Service Description
NovaCheck provides automated fact-checking services using multiple data sources. Our service analyzes claims and provides truth scores based on available information. Results are provided as-is and should not be considered as professional advice or absolute truth.
3. User Accounts
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to use our service
• One account per person is permitted
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
• Use the service for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Submit malicious content or attempt to harm the service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape or automatically collect data from the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
5. Subscription and Payments
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Free tier users receive 20 credits per month
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next period
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of NovaCheck are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF FACT-CHECK RESULTS. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NovaCheck and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the service or violation of these terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may also terminate your account at any time through account settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the country where our company is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
